If 95% of what we learn comes from our eyes and ears, imagine what it must be like to be deafblind.
Lend a Hand
There are so many ways to support individuals who are deafblind.
Our volunteers are instrumental in helping DeafBlind Ontario Services raise awareness about this complex disability. The following are just a few ways you can lend a hand:
Volunteer Coordinator
Help us with recruitment, orientation and coordination of volunteer activities.
Special Events
Lend a hand with planning fundraising events like Indulge Your Senses.
Administrative Support
Provide clerical support to the administration in payroll/human resources, finance, or general clerical areas.
House Maintenance/Yard Work
Pitch in with general household maintenance of our homes (e.g., snow removal, lawn cutting, and gardening).
Resident Support Worker
Assist residents with daily activities like grocery shopping, walks to the park and other outings.
